Calculating on your device

Your browser downloads the web app and calculation files. The app does not send your floor and plank dimensions to a server to calculate a plan. The calculation runs locally in the browser.

What is saved?

Your latest inputs are saved locally automatically. When you save your own calculation, the app stores its name, inputs and settings in browser storage. The results themselves are not saved; after opening a calculation, you calculate them again.

The built-in examples are supplied with the app. Saving your own variant does not change the original example.

Tied to your browser, device and web address

Saved inputs are not held in a Lamistra cloud and are not automatically synchronized between devices or browsers. Another web address, such as the earlier pages.dev test site, also has its own storage.

Deleting a saved calculation or clearing browser data can remove those inputs. Storage in a private window may be temporary. Anyone with access to the same browser profile can also open the saved inputs.

PDF and CSV files

You can print output as a PDF or download a CSV file. You decide where to save those files and whom to share them with.

Hosting and technical information

The website is served through Cloudflare. To deliver and protect web traffic, the hosting provider processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser or connection details. This is separate from the local calculation of your floor plan.

The app contains no advertising trackers or visitor analytics of its own.

Contributions

A contribution does not change your access to the app. Contributions to its development are voluntary; personal help with questions requires a contribution in advance, with an amount you choose yourself. Payments are handled by bunq.me or PayPal.

The recipient may see details made available by the payment provider, such as your name, amount and payment reference. The providers’ own privacy terms also apply.
